I can't tell you how emotional is was to see those cat scratches on our newly purchased leather couches that cost over $5,000 dollars. Apparently after chasing each other they pushed off the couches with their back feet and created some very ugly scars. I called the manufacturer and they provided an 800 number to a leather restoration company that provides dye and a "do it yourself" kit but this was really a job for a professional and I knew it. I told the owner of Broadway furniture about the kit and he recommended that Leather Pro's Inc. out of Portland to see the couches before I do anything myself. And boy was I glad I did. Jeff Collins, owner, came to the house and did an incredible job repairing and retouching our couches like a Museum repairing the Mona Lisa. Awesome. His bedside manner gave me the confidence that he knew his craft and it's not something I should risk trying myself. Even his wife Denene called the day before with a courtesy appointment reminder. This quality of work and level of service is hard to find and is the first to go in a down economy. Leather Pros recently refinished a leather sectional in our family room, and also refinished the leather seats in my Maserati. The leather sectional is the hangout place for the family. It gets a lot of use and abuse from the kids and the dog. Before Leather Pros did their thing, duct tape covered the holes and rips in the leather, and the red color had faded to a very unattractive dull shade. The place where the dog sleeps—well, you don’t want to know what that looked like. Leather Pros replaced the leather that was beyond refinishing, stained the  remaining leather to match the new leather, refilled the pillows, and sewed and repaired the sofa as needed. By consensus, the result is “better than new”.  The red color is restored to its full glory and makes a big statement in the family room. A good restoration solution and execution. Thanks!

 

I keep my Maserati in tip top shape, and asked Jeff at Leather Pros if he could restore the tan leather seats to “as new”. He said he could, and the result is very good. No one would know they had been repaired; they look as good as new and should help in the points category if I show the car.
